Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) to transport goods across Ohio and Georgia routes
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time arrivals
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and digital manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency with delivery tracking systems (e.g., Qualcomm)
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
