Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient load delivery
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification
- Manage pre-trip/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work irregular hours
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
