Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within California's Central Valley
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure proper cargo loading/unloading and securement per regulations
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA safety standards and company policies
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Report maintenance needs and vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway systems and delivery protocols
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
