Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes while adhering to all traffic regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain vehicle inspection logs
- Provide on-time deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer interactions
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Optimize routes for efficiency and fuel conservation
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills and local route knowledge
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
