Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
