Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and reefers) on dedicated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Tanker or hazmat endorsements preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in last 2 years
