Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery
- Secure cargo and verify documentation at pickup/drop points
- Utilize telematics for real-time route optimization
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
