Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to deliver freight across designated routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding ETA and load status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight when necessary using proper equipment
- Resolve delivery issues and maintain customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
