Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Adapt routes based on traffic, weather, and delivery requirements
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial trucking experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and transportation regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
