Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional night deliveries
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Accurate pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Efficient route planning to meet tight overnight delivery windows
- Professional customer interactions during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for seamless logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of San Diego metro area and Southern California routes
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
