Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for regional freight transport
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Arizona/Mexico border crossing protocols
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
