Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Plan optimal routes using GPS systems to ensure on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Handle secure transportation of high-value goods with zero incident tolerance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate seamlessly with dispatch and clients via telematics systems
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
