Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries in San Jose metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-controlled, hazardous materials with proper endorsements)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Jose traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and route planning abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
