Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional routes in Houston metro area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and load assignments
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures and cargo security
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with tanker/flatbed endorsement preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
