Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional and local routes within Texas and New Mexico
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at distribution centers
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Submit daily mileage and delivery reports via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with El Paso and surrounding area geography
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bill of lading
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
