Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across the local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to optimize routes and handle customer service inquiries.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
