Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for local deliveries within Metro Detroit
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 50 lbs
