Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for regional and local routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Ohio roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic navigation technology proficiency
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
