Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Complete electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and physical.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
- Valid driver's license and good MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
