Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Seattle and Puget Sound
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while maintaining punctuality and delivery accuracy
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or issues
- Assist in inventory management and secure cargo handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Seattle metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital logbooks and daily pay app
