Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods throughout the Seattle metro area and Pacific Northwest
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Complete required paperwork including delivery manifests and fuel reports
- Communicate with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Seattle traffic patterns and regional highway systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
