Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- DOT medical certification and clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily assignments
- Physical ability to handle cargo and variable weather conditions
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
