Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across Ohio and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient route planning
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major moving violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio traffic laws and regional geography
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
