Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or Class B) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork (BOL, Bill of Lading, manifests).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to strict DOT compliance standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Represent Prime Logistics Solutions professionally while on the road and at customer sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions as needed.
