Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all shipments and deliveries
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
