Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local/regional routes in San Jose Bay Area
- Load/unload freight with proper handling protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic/weather conditions
- Uphold strict DOT compliance and safety standards
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of CA traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
