Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate with dispatch via ELD system for real-time updates
- Secure and unload freight at customer locations
- Operate in all weather conditions with safety-first mindset
- Complete 100% on-time delivery performance metrics
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic navigation skills with GPS technology
