Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional deliveries in Nashville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT standards
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized freight (refrigerated, flatbed, or dry van)
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Nashville metro routes and surrounding areas
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
