Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within Ohio and neighboring states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and meet delivery timelines
- Represent Milestone Transport with professionalism in all customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio highway systems and regional geography
- Commitment to safety-first practices and punctuality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
