Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload freight with precision using various equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery timelines and communicate with dispatch
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Build positive client relationships through professional service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts
