Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while maintaining strict timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELD) and documentation systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
