Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within Texas
- Safely transport goods while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems and regulations
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight stays
- Must pass background check and provide 3 professional references
