Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional deliveries within Virginia and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure proper cargo loading/unloading and securement procedures
- Represent the company professionally with clients and at delivery sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and logging requirements
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
