Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo on schedule and within route guidelines.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to weight and balance restrictions.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
