Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (e-trak compliance)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity of Mid-Atlantic routes
- Flexibility for overnight trips and occasional weekend work
