Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes (300-400 miles/day)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and customer sites
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 1+ year of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills with GPS proficiency
- Flexible schedule including overnight trips
