Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on interstate and local highways.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
- Reliable vehicle history and no history of DUI or major violations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
