Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo across California.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic patterns in urban and rural environments.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess valid work authorization.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and sit for extended periods.
