Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over designated routes in and around the Boston area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and report any damages or defects.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and routes.
- Uphold a clean driving record and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
