Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on multi-state routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas roadways
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor on-road repairs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must be 23+ years old with 2+ years clean driving history
