Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules with punctuality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro area and I-95 corridor
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend assignments
