Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligning with organizational growth objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Drive innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present insights to C-suite and board members with actionable recommendations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in anticipating technological disruptions (e.g., blockchain, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, SWOT analysis, and trend extrapolation
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data visualization expertise
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners)
