Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for AI governance, sustainable tech adoption, and human-AI collaboration
- Design and facilitate future scenario workshops with executive teams and key stakeholders
- Create annual 'Future State' reports translating foresight into measurable KPIs and R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation ecosystems
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation protocols
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype future-focused solutions and business models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes or policy frameworks
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking credentials
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio of published trend reports or strategic frameworks for 2025+ horizons
