Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological/societal trends for 2026 horizon
- Develop and maintain proprietary future intelligence database with predictive analytics
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive teams and board members through data-driven narratives
- Build and mentor cross-functional team of futurists, researchers, and innovation specialists
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate resilience
- Publish thought leadership content and represent company at global futurist forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record translating complex future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience building/managing high-performing foresight teams
