Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging trends across technology, geopolitics, and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ strategic initiatives
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Produce actionable trend reports and strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Champion a culture of forward-thinking across the organization
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future possibilities into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or related futurist role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional ability to synthesize diverse data sources into coherent future narratives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic transformation projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
