Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cargo and equipment are secure.
- Load and unload freight accurately, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to attend our paid training program.
- Must have a clean driving record and a willingness to submit to a background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculation and reading maps.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
