Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient material delivery
- Ensure proper loading/unloading techniques to prevent spills or damage
- Maintain clean and professional vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of Austin area routes and construction sites
- Physical ability to climb equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
