Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers on dedicated routes in a safe, legal, and timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete all required documentation, including DVIRs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure a seamless delivery experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) available for review.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and a thorough background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
