Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated customer locations on schedule and in pristine condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and safety on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) issued within the last 2 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
