Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the Express Logistics Solutions brand
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during all driving operations
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintain organized vehicle storage
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (delivery, courier, or commercial driving preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and professional customer service demeanor
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic environments
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
